Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, December 2024 – Bin-Shihon Group has announced the appointment of Mohammed Al Amawi as their new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With a robust career spanning nearly two decades, Mohammed is set to lead the group’s HR strategy, drive organizational development, and enhance employee engagement across the company’s diverse sectors.
In his new role, Mohammed will focus on integrating best HR practices, fostering a high-performance culture, and aligning HR initiatives with Bin-Shihon Group’s long-term strategic goals. He will also oversee Saudization efforts, including recruitment, training, and motivation of local talent to ensure compliance with the Nitaqat system.
Prior to joining Bin-Shihon Group, Mohammed served as Group Human Resources Director at the same organization for over a year, where he contributed significantly to the HR strategy and operational excellence.
His tenure at OZCO Group Companies, spanning almost a decade, showcased his expertise in organizational development, HR technology implementation, and enhancing employee satisfaction. Mohammed led initiatives like job analysis, performance development planning, and benchmarking salary surveys, positioning the organization as an employer of choice.
Previously, Mohammed held the position of Human Resources Manager at Savola Group, where he played a pivotal role in developing succession plans, designing performance management systems, and driving compliance with government Saudization policies.
At Maersk Line, Mohammed excelled as Process Excellence Assistant Manager, focusing on project management, process optimization, and customer service improvements.
