Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County, Sweden, January 2026 – Mohan Benjamin has been appointed as Head of Global Leader Development and Business Excellence at Volvo Group, taking on a strategic global leadership mandate at the group’s headquarters. In this role, he will lead Volvo Group’s global leadership development architecture, business excellence frameworks, and enterprise-wide capability-building initiatives across its worldwide operations.
Mohan Benjamin brings over fourteen years of leadership experience within the Volvo Group ecosystem. Prior to his current appointment, he served as Country Head – Volvo Group University India and Region International, where he led regional leadership development, training delivery, business capability programs and organisational excellence initiatives across India and international markets. His mandate involved strengthening learning architectures, driving KPI-based delivery excellence and aligning leadership capability with Volvo’s global business strategy.
Earlier, Mohan served as HR Business Partner & Culture Navigator at Volvo IT India and APAC, where he played a pivotal role in shaping organisational culture, leading leadership development programs, and guiding transformation initiatives across APAC markets. He was a core member of Volvo’s global Culture Navigator network, supporting leadership mindset shifts, behaviour transformation and organisation development programs.
Alongside his corporate leadership journey, Mohan has also served for over twelve years as a Certified Consultant at Barrett Values Centre, supporting organisations in building values-driven cultures, strengthening leadership alignment and enabling high-performance organisational transformation across geographies.
Mohan Benjamin holds an MBA in Human Resources from CMR Institute of Technology.
