Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, March 2026 – Crystal Crop Protection Limited has announced the appointment of Anurag Bajpai as Head of Vegetable Business, strengthening the company’s leadership as it continues to expand its vegetable portfolio and farmer-centric agricultural solutions.
In this role, Bajpai will lead the growth and strategic development of Crystal’s vegetable business, focusing on strengthening the company’s portfolio and delivering greater value to farmer partners and customers across India. His appointment reflects Crystal’s commitment to building strong commercial leadership to drive innovation and growth in the agri-input sector.
Bajpai brings over 18 years of experience in agribusiness and commercial strategy, having previously worked with Bayer and Monsanto in a range of leadership roles across South Asia and Southeast Asia. Most recently at Bayer, he served as Portfolio Lead for South Asia and Southeast Asia, where he oversaw strategic portfolio initiatives and market development programs across multiple regional markets.
Earlier at Bayer, he held positions including Strategy Lead – India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, Regional Product Manager for the IBSL region, and Marketing Manager for South Asia and Southeast Asia, contributing to regional strategy development, product portfolio management, and digital transformation initiatives.
Prior to Bayer, Bajpai spent nearly 11 years with Monsanto, where he served as Portfolio Marketing Manager for South Asia and Southeast Asia, Regional Business Manager, and in various frontline sales roles. During this time, he led regional business expansion initiatives and drove strong market growth in horticulture crops including beans, onion, okra, and carrot.
Bajpai holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kurukshetra University and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore.
