Ashish Khilnani Promoted to Vice President at Vedanta Aluminium

Jharsuguda, Odisha, India, June 2026 — Ashish Khilnani has been promoted to the position of Vice President at Vedanta Aluminium .Khilnani has been associated with Vedanta Limited – Aluminium Business as COO Logistics, where he has played a key role in managing logistics operations and supporting business efficiency at the company’s aluminium operations in Jharsuguda, Odisha. He brings more than two decades of experience across logistics, plant operations, procurement, inventory management, industrial goods purchasing, and supply chain functions, with a strong career background in the cement, aluminium, and manufacturing sectors.

Prior to joining Vedanta Aluminium, Khilnani worked with Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd., where he held leadership roles including Logistics Cluster Head – Odisha and General Manager. During his tenure, he contributed to logistics management, plant-level operations, and regional supply chain efficiency across Odisha.Earlier, he spent over 16 years with Lafarge India Ltd, where he held multiple roles across plant logistics, purchase, plant inventory, and industrial goods and services purchasing. His long association with Lafarge helped him build deep expertise in cement plant operations, procurement systems, inventory control, and logistics management across locations including Bilaspur, Jamshedpur, and Kolkata.

His early career includes roles as Maintenance Engineer at Super Max Impex, Electrical Engineer at Softel Kitchen Appliances, and Government Apprentice (Electrical) at Raymond Cement, where he gained foundational exposure to engineering, maintenance, and industrial operations.With his extensive experience in logistics, procurement, plant operations, and supply chain leadership, Khilnani’s promotion reflects his contribution to operational excellence and business performance at Vedanta Aluminium.
