Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, October 2025 – Duravit India, a leading premium bathroom solutions brand and a subsidiary of Germany-based Duravit AG, has announced the appointment of Mohnish Rathod as its new Head – Human Resources. In his new role, Mohnish will lead HR strategy and operations for Duravit India, overseeing talent management, HR transformation projects, compliance, payroll, and employee lifecycle management across both the head office and manufacturing facilities. His appointment marks a strategic move to strengthen Duravit’s people strategy as the company continues its growth in India’s luxury bathroom segment.
Before joining Duravit India, Mohnish Rathod served as Manager – Human Resources at Welspun World, where he managed key projects in HR technology, analytics, mergers and acquisitions, and employee lifecycle operations. His work contributed to streamlining HR processes and enhancing data-driven decision-making across business units.
Prior to Welspun, Mohnish was associated with STL – Sterlite Technologies Limited as Assistant Manager – Human Resources, where he played a significant role in HR digitization and transformation. He successfully led initiatives such as automation of promotion cycles, implementation of Leena AI tools, and development of internal ticketing systems to improve employee experience and efficiency.
Earlier in his career, he served as Executive – Human Resources at VOLANSYS (An ACL Digital Company). In this role, he managed campus recruitment drives, lateral hiring for technology divisions, and administrative coordination, laying a strong foundation in HR operations and talent acquisition for emerging tech industries.
An alumnus of California State University, San Bernardino, Mohnish holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. His expertise spans across HR strategy, transformation, analytics, and workforce management, positioning him as a new-generation HR leader equipped to align business goals with people priorities.
