Georgia, United States, March 2025 – Monte Erritt has been appointed as Chief People Officer at Vermeer Southeast Sales & Svc, Inc. In his new role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, focusing on employee development, engagement, and leadership initiatives to support Vermeer Southeast’s continued growth as a 100% employee-owned company.
Erritt has been with Vermeer Southeast Sales & Svc, Inc. for nearly three decades, demonstrating a strong commitment to talent development and operational excellence. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President – Employee Development for over four years, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s workforce training programs and professional growth initiatives.
Before that, he was Regional Manager for over 14 years, overseeing parts, service, and sales operations across Georgia and North Florida. His leadership ensured the seamless execution of business strategies while maintaining a customer-centric approach in these key markets.
Previously, Erritt served as Director of Sales Training for 14 years, where he was responsible for developing and implementing sales training programs across different regions. His expertise in coaching and professional development significantly contributed to strengthening Vermeer Southeast’s sales force. Earlier in his career, he held roles as Sales Manager and Sales Representative, building deep expertise in client relations and sales operations.
