Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India, September 2025 – UMSL Limited, a leading EPC company engaged in roads, pipelines, railways, buildings, and logistics for the mining industry, has announced the appointment of Mr. Mukesh Agarwal as its new Executive Director.
A Chartered Accountant with over 22 years of professional experience, Mr. Agarwal brings a wealth of expertise in operations, strategy, investments, joint ventures, and stakeholder management. In his new capacity, he will provide strategic leadership across all UMSL Group entities, with a strong focus on corporate branding, business transformation, innovation, and governance. His leadership will play a critical role in driving digitalization, organizational synergy, and long-term sustainable growth for the company.
Before joining UMSL, Mr. Agarwal served as Executive Director at RAREAN FluidTech Pvt. Ltd., where he was instrumental in steering operational excellence and supporting the company’s growth and transformation initiatives. He successfully drove strategic projects, enhanced efficiency frameworks, and guided cross-functional teams toward achieving key business milestones.
Previously, he spent an impressive 17 years with Welspun Corp Limited, Mumbai, where he progressed through several leadership roles including Associate Vice President – Strategy and Special Projects, Senior General Manager – Strategy and Business Transformation, and General Manager – Bidding and Special Projects. During his tenure, he spearheaded business transformation programs, evaluated large-scale growth and diversification projects, and coordinated multi-crore greenfield expansions. His efforts in international market development, cost optimization, and collaborative ventures brought significant operational and financial impact to the organization.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Agarwal held key managerial positions within Welspun’s Chairman’s Office and Business Excellence divisions, where he supported financial due diligence, stabilization of new business units, and performance management systems. He began his professional journey at Emami Ltd, contributing to financial planning, cost control, and business analysis during a period of strong organizational expansion.
With his deep understanding of strategic operations and business transformation, Mr. Agarwal is poised to lead UMSL’s next phase of growth and position the company as a future-ready organization within India’s infrastructure and EPC landscape.
