Cairo, Egypt, March 2025 – mobica. has announced the appointment of Nahla Salama as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With over two decades of experience in human resources leadership, Nahla will oversee talent strategy, organizational culture, and HR transformation to support the company’s expansion in the Middle East and Africa.
Before joining mobica., Nahla spent over six years at Oriental Weavers, where she served as Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, she was instrumental in enhancing talent management, leadership development, and HR operations across the organization, reinforcing Oriental Weavers’ position as a leading manufacturer in Egypt.
Prior to that, she worked at ARESCO for Manufacturing and Industrial Projects for eight years, holding the position of Human Resources & Administration Director. She played a key role in driving workforce optimization, aligning HR policies with business strategy, and leading organizational change initiatives.
Nahla’s career also includes experience as an HR Instructor at The American University in Cairo, where she contributed to developing HR professionals through education and training programs. Additionally, she has held HR leadership positions at Challenger Limited – Petroleum Drilling Co. and PepsiCo, where she led compensation and benefits, HR administration, and employee engagement programs.
