Mumbai, India, December 2025 – Nandita Nair has taken on a new role as Deputy General Manager – Human Resources at L&T Precision Engineering and Systems, bringing her extensive HR leadership experience across aviation, shipping, automotive, and technology sectors to one of India’s foremost engineering and defence organizations.
In her new position, Nandita will be driving people strategies to support the company’s growth in the precision systems space, playing a key role in organizational development, talent transformation, and change management as L&T continues delivering mission-critical defence and space solutions with indigenous capabilities.
Nandita’s career spans two decades, marked by her deep expertise in HR transformation, performance management systems, talent development, and organizational design. Most recently, she served as People Partner at A.P. Moller – Maersk, where she supported hybrid workforces in Navi Mumbai and led strategic HR initiatives for the global shipping major.
Prior to that, Nandita held senior HR roles at OneScreen.AI as Director of People Operations, and at National Aviation Services (NAS) where she led HR functions across India and Kuwait. Her global exposure and experience in diverse industries have shaped her into a versatile HR strategist with a strong foundation in policy formulation, performance appraisals, and OD consulting.
Her earlier corporate experience includes a pivotal role at Tata Motors as Manager (Corporate HR), where she spearheaded performance management, training, organization development, and recruitment. Nandita began her professional journey as a software engineer at UST Global, giving her a strong technical and analytical edge in people management.
She is a postgraduate in HR from Goa Institute of Management (GIM) and has completed an executive program in Organization Development and Change from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
