Hyderabad, Telangana, India, March 2026 — Naresh Kumar Gunda has announced his new role as Head of Talent Acquisition at Matrix Pharmacorp. Based in an on-site capacity, he will spearhead talent acquisition strategies across corporate functions and key pharma domains including API, intermediates, and peptides spanning research, manufacturing, and sales, while leading a team to deliver hiring outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
In his new position at Matrix Pharmacorp, Naresh Kumar Gunda is focused on developing recruitment processes to attract top talent for the pharmaceutical industry and strengthening operational efficiency through structured hiring execution and team leadership.
Prior to joining Matrix Pharmacorp, he served as AGM Talent Acquisition at CuraTeQ Biologics, where he led talent acquisition strategies for CuraTeQ Biologics and TheraNym Biologics with a focus on complex molecules and biotech research. During this stint, he developed recruitment processes that reduced time-to-hire by 30% and managed a team to meet high-volume hiring needs.
Earlier, he spent over six years with Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, progressing through multiple talent acquisition roles. His journey included serving as Talent Advisor – R&D, Strategy and Commercial functions (Biologics and IPDO), and earlier as Senior Manager Talent Acquisition – Biologics BU, where he handled end-to-end hiring needs across monoclonal antibodies, vaccines and global pharmacovigilance, covering R&D, quality, engineering, manufacturing operations, and support functions. He also held roles as Talent Acquisition Manager – Biologics BU and Assistant Manager Talent Acquisition Biologics Business, building deep exposure to biotech and complex hiring mandates.
Before this, Naresh Kumar Gunda worked with Novartis as Talent Acquisition Specialist : COE, hiring for senior and specialist roles including statistical programming leadership, innovation and strategy leadership, biostatistics and data science positions. He also served at Randstad India as Sr. Specialist Talent Acquisition and supported AstraZeneca through an HR RPO deputation assignment. Earlier in his career, he worked with Nefer HR Consulting Pvt Ltd. in roles spanning account management and lead consulting for healthcare and life sciences, and began his journey in talent acquisition with HarNeedi.
