Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, March 2026 — Biocon has announced that Naveen Narayanan is set to assume the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), where he will lead the company’s global people strategy with a focus on talent development, organizational transformation, and building a high-performance culture aligned with Biocon’s growth ambitions.
In his current role as Global Head of Human Resources at Biocon Biologics, Narayanan has been responsible for driving the people strategy for the biosimilars business across 30+ geographies, with a strong emphasis on performance, culture, and scaling for growth.
Before joining Biocon Biologics, he worked with KPISOFT, where he led human capital consulting, solutions, and transformation initiatives, supporting large enterprise clients with talent process modernization, change programs, and future-ready HR capabilities.
Earlier, Narayanan held leadership roles at Publicis Sapient, where he led talent and planning responsibilities across India and APAC, and drove workforce transformation initiatives spanning employer branding, capability building, and large-scale HR technology change programs.
Across his wider career, he has also built deep expertise through senior stints with HCLTech, Accenture, and Standard Chartered Bank, contributing to global talent management, HR transformation, shared services scale-ups, and enterprise-wide people programs.
Narayanan’s appointment reinforces Biocon’s continued focus on strengthening its talent engine and organizational capabilities as it scales its global footprint and advances its mission of enhancing healthcare access through innovative, affordable therapies.
