Monroe, Michigan, United States, February 2025 – Nicholas Blagec has taken on the role of Senior Director, Human Resources at The SYGMA Network. In this capacity, he will oversee HR strategy, talent acquisition, compliance, performance management, and employee relations across SYGMA’s nationwide operations. His leadership will be critical in aligning HR initiatives with business objectives, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving workforce development strategies.
Nicholas has been with The SYGMA Network for nearly four years, where he previously served as Regional Human Resources Director – North, managing HR operations for six states and leading HR teams across six different centers. Before that, he was Human Resources Business Partner II, where he played a key role in developing HR policies, overseeing employee relations, and executing talent acquisition strategies.
Before joining SYGMA, Nicholas worked at Liebherr USA as Human Resources Manager, where he provided HR leadership across multiple business units, including Aerospace, Automation, Gear Technology, and Components divisions. He was responsible for staffing, HR operations, compliance, and talent development programs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Earlier in his career, Nicholas spent several years in HR leadership roles at Lowe’s Home Improvement. As Assistant Store Manager – Operations, he led HR compliance, training programs, and employee performance initiatives across multiple locations. Prior to this, he was a Human Resources Manager at Arrow Strategies, where he managed talent acquisition, HR analytics, and employee relations.
Nicholas began his HR career at Lowe’s Home Improvement as a Human Resources Manager, where he was a strategic business partner for store management, talent acquisition, and compliance operations. His experience in HR systems, workforce planning, and organizational development laid the foundation for his future HR leadership roles.
