California, United States – October 2024 – Nicole C. has been appointed as the Chief People & Experience Officer at Blue Zones Health, a leading healthcare organization focusing on lifestyle medicine and chronic disease prevention. In her new position, Nicole will drive employee engagement, patient experience, and organizational culture across Blue Zones Health’s expanding nationwide network.
Prior to joining Blue Zones Health, Nicole served as the Managing Director at ProNexus Advisory for about 6 months, where she focused on establishing a virtual network for healthcare consultants to enhance service delivery. Simultaneously, she held the role of Executive Healthcare Advisor, leveraging her extensive knowledge to provide strategic solutions in healthcare transformation.
Nicole also founded and led IGNITE HX for more than 4 years, driving human-centered design in healthcare innovation. As the Chief Executive Officer, she focused on creating impactful solutions by integrating empathy and user experience into healthcare processes, transforming the healthcare landscape.
Before founding IGNITE HX, Nicole held significant roles in healthcare organizations, including Chief Experience Officer at both CareMax, Inc. and InnovaCare Health, where she worked for a combined total of about 6 years. During this tenure, she led patient engagement initiatives, operational improvements, and the integration of innovative healthcare models focused on sustainability, cost-effectiveness, and technology.
In earlier stages of her career, Nicole served as Corporate Director, Patient Experience at ChenMed for about 2.5 years, followed by a role as Director, Patient & Guest Experience at Laurel Regional Hospital for 3+ years. She also gained experience in healthcare strategy and customer engagement at University of Maryland Medical Center and Marriott International, where she developed expertise in operational excellence and strategic HR management.
