Nicole Goode Appointed as Senior Director, People at Visa

Singapore, October 2025 — Visa, a global leader in digital payments, has announced the appointment of Nicole Goode as Senior Director, People. In her new role, Nicole will lead people strategy and operations across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, in addition to overseeing HR for the Asia Pacific regional functions of Product and Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (CMS).

Nicole’s appointment is a recognition of her impactful leadership and dedication to nurturing Visa’s people-centric culture. After an enriching tenure with the Australia, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands Visa team, she now transitions into this expanded regional role—continuing her journey with the organization and driving its talent and culture agenda across diverse markets.

Nicole has been with Visa for nearly three years, where she most recently served as Director and Head of People for Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. In this capacity, she was instrumental in strengthening Visa’s employee experience, building robust people practices, and fostering a culture of inclusion, growth, and excellence across multiple geographies.

Prior to joining Visa, Nicole worked for over six years with Datacom, one of Australasia’s largest homegrown technology companies. During her tenure, she served as Senior People Business Partner and People Business Partner – New Zealand Commercial, where she led HR strategy, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and community engagement programs. She was pivotal in designing and executing people projects that advanced Datacom’s growth across the region.

Nicole began her HR career at Westcon-Comstor New Zealand, where she progressed from Regional Sales Assistant/HR Administrator to HR & Recruitment Advisor. There, she was responsible for aligning HR processes with business strategy, managing recruitment operations, and supporting the senior leadership team on key organizational initiatives.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Employment Relations & Organisation Studies and Human Geography from the University of Auckland, underscoring her academic foundation in people and organizational development.
