Marlborough, Massachusetts, United States, November 2025 – Cytiva, a global biotechnology leader and part of the Danaher Corporation, has announced the appointment of Nikki Soares as its new Vice President, Talent Management. In this strategic role, Nikki will lead talent management transformation initiatives across Cytiva’s global network of 15,000 associates, focusing on advancing leadership development, succession planning, and strategic workforce capabilities that fuel organizational growth and innovation.
Before her current appointment, Nikki Soares served as Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition at Danaher Corporation, where she led end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for a $31 billion organization with more than 65,000 associates worldwide. Her leadership was instrumental in building a global center of excellence, transforming hiring operations, and strengthening the company’s ability to attract top-tier scientific and business talent across continents.
Prior to that, Nikki spent more than three years with Cytiva, where she held two key leadership roles. As Global Talent Acquisition Leader for the Biotechnology Group, she oversaw recruitment strategy for a $10 billion business with 16,000 employees, integrating acquisitions, leading organizational design, and scaling recruitment delivery globally. Earlier, as Global Talent Acquisition Leader for Cytiva, she built a 80+ member global TA team from the ground up, successfully meeting a fourfold increase in hiring demand while supporting major plant expansions and merger integrations.
Before joining Cytiva and Danaher, Nikki held several senior HR and talent acquisition roles at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she served as Senior Director, Americas Talent Acquisition and Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition – Corporate Functions. She played a pivotal role in restructuring TA operations, launching diversity and early talent programs, and improving candidate experience across the Americas and global markets. Her initiatives drove measurable improvements in diversity hiring, time-to-fill reduction, and leadership pipeline strength.
Earlier in her career, Nikki gained extensive experience across major organizations including Liberty Mutual Insurance, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Charles Schwab, Guidant Corporation, and AlliedSignal (now Honeywell). Her career journey demonstrates a strong track record of building high-performance teams, designing enterprise talent systems, and aligning human capital strategy with business transformation.
Nikki holds an MBA in Human Resources and Marketing from the USC Marshall School of Business, where she also served as Associate Director at the MBA Career Resource Center, mentoring future business leaders and designing employability programs for top-tier talent.
