Panama City, Panama, July 2024 – Nikki Tate has started a new role as Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at Grupo Prival. Nikki brings a wealth of experience in the banking and financial services industry, and her expertise will be instrumental in driving the HR strategy at Grupo Prival.
Nikki Tate joins Grupo Prival from Michael Page, where she served as Senior Consultant – Banking and Insurance Division Head from January 2024 to June 2024. In this role, she was a subject matter expert in the banking, insurance, and financial services industries. She collaborated with C-suite decision-makers to address managerial and executive-level recruitment requirements, planned for succession needs in key roles, and ensured the recruitment of high-quality candidates aligned with clients’ goals.
Before that, Nikki was an Associate Principal at Page Executive from January 2023 to January 2024, and a Senior Consultant at Michael Page from January 2021 to January 2023. During her tenure, she developed sustainable business growth, grew key accounts, and managed the recruitment process from interview to offer stage.
Nikki also held the position of Private Banking & Investment Officer at Banco La Hipotecaria from July 2019 to November 2020. She managed the reinvestment activities of the bank’s financial resources for Panama, Colombia, and El Salvador, and was responsible for commercial relationship management, documentation processing, and liquidity report updates.
Earlier in her career, Nikki was an Assistant Risk Manager at MiFinanciera, S.A. from January 2018 to April 2019, and an Assistant Business Manager at the same company from March 2017 to December 2017. She developed and implemented collection and portfolio recovery strategies and met monthly sales goals for commercial and consumer products.
Nikki’s career began at Banistmo as a Commercial Banking Analyst for SMEs from February 2016 to January 2017, where she developed and monitored business strategies for the SME segment. She also worked as a Senior Researcher at Amrop Central America & Caribbean from June 2013 to October 2015, managing the complete cycle of assigned recruitment processes and maintaining relationships with local and international clients.
Her early roles include various positions at MetroBank, SA, where she served as a Corporate Credit Junior Officer, Corporate Credit Assistant, and Private Banking Executive from September 2011 to May 2013.
