Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Nilesh P. has joined ABB0TT India Limited as Head of Marketing – Vaccines, marking a significant leadership move in the vaccines portfolio.
In his new role, Nilesh will lead the marketing strategy and commercial direction for Abbott India’s vaccines business, driving growth, access, and innovative activation pathways in a highly competitive and evolving healthcare landscape.
Prior to this appointment, Nilesh spent over seven years at Pfizer, where he most recently served as Business Activation Lead, Vaccines. In this capacity, he led marketing and activation strategies for Prevenar 13/20 across care accounts and corporate pathways, developed value dossiers and cost-benefit models for key decision-makers, and executed patient assistance programs to enhance affordability and continuity of care across emerging markets.
Earlier at Pfizer, he held roles including Health Solution Partner, Vaccines & Rare Disease, where he enabled activation of Centers of Excellence and strengthened therapy adherence initiatives, and Country Brand Manager, shaping marketing strategies for large portfolios through data-driven campaigns and digital channel engagement. Before Pfizer, Nilesh built strong commercial and brand leadership experience at Cipla, driving diabetes portfolio growth, product launches, and strategic brand initiatives.
With a robust background spanning pharmaceutical marketing, brand strategy, go-to-market execution, and business activation across leading organizations, Nilesh brings deep expertise to Abbott India’s vaccines division.
