Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2025 — Nisha Samuel has been appointed as Vice President – Human Resources at Legrand India, where she will lead the company’s human resources strategies. With over two decades of diverse HR experience, Samuel brings expertise in talent acquisition, total rewards, HR business partnering, and operational excellence, which will be pivotal in driving Legrand India’s growth objectives. Her focus will be on creating a high-performance culture, aligning HR strategies with business goals, and fostering an inclusive work environment while spearheading people-centric initiatives for employee development.
Prior to her new role, Nisha Samuel served as Head of HR – India at Clariant, where she was responsible for strategic business partnering and driving diversity and inclusion initiatives for the company. During her four-year tenure, she also held the role of Head of HR – India & SEAP, focusing on regional HR leadership across South East Asia Pacific.
Before Clariant, she was Vice President – Human Resources at CHRYSO India for over four years, leading HR and administrative functions while implementing key talent development and culture transformation strategies.
Samuel also spent nine years at Dow Performance Silicones, where she held multiple leadership positions, including HR Business Partner and Head – Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition. During her time, she played a key role in mergers, business integrations, and driving strategic HR transformation projects.
Earlier in her career, Nisha worked at Eastman Kodak Company for over six years, managing end-to-end recruitment and HR operations. She began her professional journey at Shoppers Stop as an HR Officer, where she led employee lifecycle management and recruitment for the merchandising team.
