Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — PepsiCo has announced the appointment of Nishant Gupta as Vice President – Chief Strategy, Transformation & Deployment, India & South Asia. In this pivotal role, Nishant will lead enterprise strategy, transformation programs, and deployment excellence across one of PepsiCo’s most dynamic growth markets.
Nishant Gupta brings more than two decades of distinguished experience across consumer goods, retail, consulting, entrepreneurship, and large-scale transformation.
Most recently, he served as Partner – CPG & Retail (India, Middle East & Africa) at Tata Consultancy Services, where he led multi-country transformation engagements spanning GTM strategy, digital and AI transformation, supply chain and inventory modernization, quick-commerce strategy, customer experience roadmaps, and M&A due diligence for large consumer and retail enterprises across India, South Africa, and the Middle East. He also managed consulting P&L responsibilities and built strategic leadership cohorts from IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta.
Prior to TCS, Nishant was Director – Business Consulting (Consumer Markets) at KPMG India, where he drove growth feasibility, route-to-market strategy, cost optimization, and portfolio expansion programs for FMCG, food, textile, and durable goods companies.
He is also the Co-Founder of Farmery, a D2C dairy platform where he built one of India’s largest fresh dairy e-commerce models, establishing farm-to-kitchen cold supply chains, enabling technology-driven last-mile delivery, achieving operational break-even within 15 months, and leading capital raise and M&A activities.
Earlier, Nishant held leadership roles at Accenture Strategy and Genpact, delivering large-scale supply chain transformations, channel and retail strategy, sales and service transformation, and enterprise process re-engineering programs. His foundational experience includes supply chain and demand planning leadership roles at Nestlé India and procurement functions at Tata Motors.
He holds a PGDBM from IIM Mumbai and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Harcourt Butler Technical University.
