Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, December 2024 – Vijendra Sharma has taken on the role of Vice President Human Resources at Black Rock Hotels & Resorts, bringing over three decades of HR expertise in the luxury hospitality industry. With a proven track record of driving employee engagement, compliance, and organizational excellence, Vijendra is set to lead the HR function at some of India’s most prestigious properties.
Prior to joining Black Rock Hotels & Resorts, Vijendra was the Cluster HR Head at Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited, where he managed HR operations across key locations and implemented strategies to enhance team performance and engagement.
Earlier, Vijendra served as the Area Director HR for Taj Hotels in Udaipur, Jodhpur, and Jaisalmer, as well as the Director of HR at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace, a premier luxury palace hotel. During his decade-long tenure, he played a critical role in overseeing HR functions for iconic properties and contributed significantly to building a culture of excellence.
Vijendra’s journey with Taj Hotels began in 1989 at Taj Lake Palace, Udaipur. Over the years, he rose through various HR roles, earning accolades for his leadership in employee relations, compliance, training, and performance management.
