In an exciting development for the corporate landscape of electronic payment services in Iraq, Noha Tarek Fahmy has taken up the mantle as the new Regional Human Resources Director at QiCard.

This appointment marks a significant step in Fahmy’s illustrious career, which spans over a decade of extensive experience in the human resources domain across various industries and countries.

Noha Tarek Fahmy’s journey before joining QiCard has been marked by notable achievements and contributions to several leading organizations. Prior to this new chapter, Fahmy served as the Human Resources Director at Webhelp, where she was instrumental in driving HR strategies and initiatives in Egypt.

Her tenure at Webhelp was preceded by significant roles at Mondia Group, where she led as the Group Global Head of People and Managing Director for Egypt, showcasing her ability to manage HR functions on a global scale. Furthermore, her experience also includes pivotal positions at geidea where her leadership in HR and administration significantly contributed to organizational development and talent management.

Given QiCard’s status as the leading electronic payment services company in Iraq, Fahmy’s role is crucial in ensuring the company continues to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.

Upon embarking on her new journey, Fahmy expressed her excitement and readiness to contribute to QiCard’s mission and growth, stating, “I am thrilled to announce that I have started a new journey as a Regional Human Resources Director at QiCard! Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
