Plano, Texas, United States, March 2025 – Om Jha has been appointed as Director – Global Media Capabilities at PepsiCo, transitioning from his previous role as Director – Media, Data, Marketing Capabilities, and Partnerships. In his new role, he will be responsible for optimizing global media capabilities, driving innovation, and advancing PepsiCo’s media transformation strategy. His expertise in media strategy, data-driven marketing, and digital transformation will play a key role in shaping the company’s marketing effectiveness on a global scale.
Jha has been with PepsiCo for nearly six years, leading strategic initiatives across media, data, marketing capabilities, and partnerships. As Head of Media & Partnerships, he was instrumental in connecting iconic PepsiCo brands with consumers through media, data, and technology, while leading procurement, negotiations, and first-party data-driven marketing strategies.
Prior to PepsiCo, he held leadership roles at Disney Star as Assistant Vice President – Customer Strategy, where he led TV and digital ad sales strategy, and at GroupM, where he worked as Senior Director – Strategy, focusing on branding, performance marketing, and audience insights.
Jha’s diverse career spans roles in Airtel, KPMG India, Idea Cellular Ltd, Abbott, and Mahindra Group, where he gained extensive experience in media strategy, consumer engagement, and business transformation. His leadership at PepsiCo has been pivotal in strengthening brand connections through data-driven decision-making and strategic partnerships.
Jha holds a PGDM in Operations and General Management from K J Somaiya Institute of Management, where he was among the top three in his class. He has also completed PepsiCo’s ASPIRE Leadership Program at Harvard University.
