Omar AlDossary Appointed as Vice President Human Resources at Al Muhaidib Group

Saudi Arabia, June 2025 – Al Muhaidib Group has appointed Omar AlDossary as Vice President Human Resources. In this pivotal role, Omar will be responsible for driving people strategy, organizational development, and talent transformation initiatives to support the group’s ongoing growth and diversified investments across key sectors.

Prior to joining Al Muhaidib Group, Omar AlDossary had a distinguished tenure of nine years at Gulf International Bank, where he most recently served as Head of HR Business Partnering & Employee Services. In this capacity, Omar led HR business partnership, talent acquisition, operations, government relations, and outsourcing management. His earlier role as Head of Learning and Talent Management saw him design and implement comprehensive talent management and learning strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and the creation of the acclaimed “Ro’ya رؤية” successor program. Omar was also instrumental in launching key employee engagement initiatives, such as the Women Empowerment Committee and Junior Executive Management Committee, and played a vital role in the bank’s digital hiring transformation during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Before his achievements at GIB, Omar was VP, HR Business Partner at the bank, leading the transformation of HR into an inclusive business partnership model, overseeing compensation, benefits, organizational design, and the administration of Saudization initiatives. He managed critical projects in partnership with top consulting firms, including HR policy transformation aligned with national goals.

Earlier in his career, Omar held several HR leadership roles at SABB (Saudi British Bank), including HR Relationship Manager, Eastern Region HR Manager and Human Relationship Officer. He was recognized for his successful implementation of the Saudization plan, achieving best-in-class graduate hiring and retention, as well as leading significant organizational planning, policy design, and employee engagement programs.

With over 18 years of diverse HR leadership experience spanning financial services and investment conglomerates, Omar brings deep expertise in HR strategy, talent development, organizational transformation, and change management.
