Pam Miller has stepped into a new role as Director, Enterprise Systems (HR & Finance Technology) at Box, where she has been enhancing technology solutions for nearly four years. This promotion, effective from April 2024, places Miller at the forefront of Box’s efforts to optimize its HR and finance technologies, critical to supporting the company’s growth and operational efficiency.
Miller’s tenure at Box began in July 2020 as Manager, Enterprise Systems (People Technology), where she managed a portfolio of Workday projects and played a pivotal role in roadmap planning and prioritization. She was promoted to Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems (People & Finance Technology) in August 2021, overseeing back-office technology portfolios including Workday, Netsuite, and Coupa among others. Her leadership has been crucial in aligning technology strategy with business priorities across HR and Finance, setting the technological direction, and ensuring cross-functional alignment.
Prior to joining Box, Miller enriched her extensive HR technology experience at Airbnb as Program Manager, then Senior Manager for Talent Systems, where she led large-scale, cross-functional programs and was responsible for the global delivery of the Talent Systems project portfolio from February 2018 to May 2020. Her role included overseeing project managers and ensuring the successful implementation of critical HR business processes.
Before Airbnb, Miller served at Deloitte as a Manager in the Human Capital practice, specializing in Workday implementations across various industries, which included planning and implementing global Human Capital Management configurations. Her deep involvement in HR systems started at Aggressor LLC and was further developed at the California Academy of Sciences and IKEA, where she held various HR roles that sharpened her expertise in organizational processes and system management.
