Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, United States, October 2025 — Avis Budget Group, a global leader in mobility and transportation solutions, has announced the appointment of Pamela Perry as Vice President, Human Resources – Americas. In this role, Pamela will oversee HR strategy and operations across North and South America, driving initiatives that strengthen talent management, leadership capability, and workforce engagement across the company’s diverse operations.
Pamela’s appointment reflects her exceptional tenure and deep understanding of the business, having been with Avis Budget Group for more than a decade. Known for her collaborative leadership and commitment to fostering a high-performance culture, she will continue to play a pivotal role in aligning HR strategies with the company’s evolving business objectives and global growth.
Pamela has been with Avis Budget Group for over 13 years, where she most recently served as Senior Director, Human Resources – Central Area. In that role, she led the HR function across 14 states and 50 locations, supporting more than 4,000 employees in both union and non-union facilities. She also managed a team of six HR Business Partners, driving performance, engagement, and alignment between business and people strategies across the Central Area.
Before joining Avis Budget Group, Pamela was Human Resources Manager at Peterbilt Motors Company in Denton, Texas. There, she led HR operations for a non-union workforce of over 2,000 employees and managed a multi-million-dollar HR budget while overseeing staffing, training, compliance, and safety programs.
Earlier in her career, Pamela served as Plant Human Resources Manager at ConAgra Foods, where she played a key role in driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives and enhancing employee engagement through change management and leadership development programs.
Pamela also spent nearly a decade at Delphi, holding multiple HR leadership positions, including Human Resources Manager and Senior Labor Relations Representative. At Delphi, she worked closely with senior executives to develop global HR strategies, manage employee relations across 23 countries, and implement talent management frameworks to support business transformation.
Pamela holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas Woman’s University, which further strengthened her strategic and analytical capabilities in business and HR leadership.
