Gurugram, India, July 2024 – Pankaj Pradeep has joined Dhanuka Agritech Ltd. as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President – Human Resources. In this new role, he is partnering with the leadership team to drive the goal of transforming India through agriculture with new-age crop protection and advanced agritech initiatives. Pankaj is eager to collaborate with the talented team at Dhanuka Agritech to drive innovative HR strategies, support business goals, and enhance organizational culture by fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and high-performing workplace where every employee can thrive.
Prior to joining Dhanuka Agritech, Pankaj Pradeep was the AVP – Head Human Resources & Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Fiat India Automobiles Private Limited for approximately 2.5 years. During his tenure, he was responsible for strategic human resources leadership, succession planning, and HR strategy. He played a crucial role in driving leadership development and fostering a culture of compliance and ethics within the organization.
Before that, Pankaj served as the Senior Director – People Business Partner – Logistics – SCO at DP World for about 1 year. In this role, he led HR for all logistics businesses in the Subcontinent region, including contract logistics, cold chain, freight forwarding, bulk commodities, rail & PFT, and express logistics. He was instrumental in building the “One DP World Way” as a strategic intervention to drive organizational effectiveness.
Earlier, he held the position of Senior Director – Human Resources at ElasticRun for around 2.5 years. At ElasticRun, Pankaj built and led HR practices for a unicorn startup with over 3500 employees across India, encompassing technology, sales & distribution, central & field operations, supply, and business-enabling functions. His focus was on scaling the organization by creating a strong culture and talent pool.
Pankaj’s extensive career includes significant roles at DHL, where he was the Chief Human Resources Officer – DHL eCommerce India LLP for about 1 year, and at Amazon, where he served as the India HR Lead – Middle Mile, Amazon Logistics for approximately 3.5 years. At Amazon, he was responsible for HR leadership across various logistics and fulfillment functions.
His earlier experiences also include serving as the Director – Human Resources at Nielsen India Pvt. Ltd. for around 2.5 years, where he led the HRBP, HR Ops & Benefits, Employee Relations, and Ombudsman functions. Additionally, Pankaj was the Business HR Manager – India at DHL Express India for about 4 years, overseeing HRBP, staffing, HR operations, and employee relations functions.
Pankaj’s career began with roles such as Senior Manager – Human Resources at Emerson for around 2 years, Executive – Human Resources at Kansai Nerolac Paints Ltd for approximately 3 years, and Human Resources Executive at JAY BHARAT MARUTI LIMITED for about 3 years.
