Lisbon, Portugal, July 2025 – Paola Souto Moraes has taken on a new role as Head of People – Portugal at Lyca Mobile Group, a global leader in international mobile services. In this pivotal role, Paola will be driving people strategy and HR operations across Lyca’s Portugal offices in Lisbon, Faro, and Porto, supporting local leadership in executing talent, compliance, and culture initiatives aligned with the group’s dynamic global presence.
Before this appointment, Paola served as Human Resources Operations Lead at Lyca Mobile Portugal, where she was instrumental in overseeing core HR operations, streamlining personnel administration, onboarding, performance monitoring, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. Her leadership facilitated greater alignment between operational excellence and HR strategy in the Portuguese market.
Prior to joining Lyca, she held dual roles as a Career Mentor and previously served as Chief People Officer – LATAM, EMEA, and USA at Sandbox Group, where she led post-M&A integration across 19 startups globally and managed a global team of 14 across Brazil, USA, Spain, and the UK. She also played a key role in rebranding the organization and establishing a robust internal talent strategy across 19+ countries.
Earlier in her journey, Paola led the HR function at Argo Solutions across Latin America, championing a cultural transformation post-M&A with Amadeus IT Group and managing HR restructuring, remote work implementation during the pandemic, and CEO succession planning. She has also held HR leadership roles at AgileOne, Pandora, Acer, Essilor Group, and Teleperformance, contributing to organizational growth, leadership development, and strategic HR integration in multiple markets.
