City of Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, June 2025 – Pariksha Bikka Rutthan has been appointed as the new Head of People Operations | Africa at SYSPRO, a global leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for manufacturing and distribution. In her new role, Pariksha will be responsible for driving the people strategy across SYSPRO’s African operations, with a focus on talent development, employee engagement, and operational excellence in HR.
Prior to this, Pariksha held a range of impactful leadership roles at Smollan, where she worked for nearly 14 years. Most recently, she served as People Lead for Global People & Digital Commerce, where she provided comprehensive support across recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management. She also led data-driven HR analysis and supported the rollout of global HR programs, policies, and employee engagement initiatives. Her tenure also included serving as People Partner for Tiger Brands Field Sales, where she oversaw end-to-end HR operations, facilitated career development plans, ensured legislative compliance, and drove performance coaching and talent development initiatives.
Earlier in her career, Pariksha served as HR Manager for Pioneer Foods Instore, where she led payroll governance, talent assessments, and training strategy to ensure standardization and growth across business units. She previously held significant roles at Unilever Field Sales, serving as both National L&D Officer and HR Officer, where she was instrumental in designing training programs, streamlining onboarding processes, and managing performance and industrial relations systems.
Her career began with HR and recruitment assignments at LabourNet and Tsogo Sun, and since then she has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic alignment, and deep expertise in employee rewards, corporate social responsibility, and leadership development. Her extensive background in people operations across both local and global contexts positions her well to drive HR innovation at SYSPRO Africa.
