Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, February 2026 – Pascal Sommerhalder has started a new position as Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Blackmores Group, bringing more than two decades of global finance leadership experience across consumer health, nutrition, and multinational corporations.
In his new role, Pascal will lead the financial strategy and performance agenda for Blackmores Group, supporting its continued growth as a leading natural health company and subsidiary of Kirin Holdings. He also continues as Chief Financial Officer at Kirin Health Science International, further strengthening the financial alignment across the Kirin Health Science portfolio.
Prior to this appointment, Pascal spent over 17 years with Nestlé, where he held several senior international finance roles. Most recently, he served as CFO, Nestlé Indonesia, overseeing finance operations in one of the company’s key growth markets. Earlier, as CFO Asia, Oceania and Africa (Infant Nutrition and Baby Food) based in Singapore, he carried full P&L responsibility for a multi-billion-dollar business spanning more than 30 markets.
He also served as CFO Nestlé Korea, where he held additional responsibilities as Head of Procurement and Statutory Auditor of joint ventures, and as Regional CFO Pacific Rim & South East Asia – Nestlé and Wyeth Nutrition, managing over $1 billion in net sales across ASEAN and Oceania. His earlier roles at Nestlé included finance leadership positions in the Philippines, China, and Switzerland, covering corporate control, joint ventures, and business unit performance.
Before Nestlé, Pascal held finance and business planning roles at Novartis, Philip Morris International, and Copas Group in Beijing, building a strong foundation in global business planning, analysis, and corporate reporting.
