Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, September 2024 – Patrick Doyle has been appointed as Vice President – Global Talent at Teck Resources Limited. In this new role, Patrick will be responsible for overseeing the global talent strategy, focusing on the development, acquisition, and management of talent across the company’s diverse operations worldwide.
Patrick brings over 17 years of experience at Teck Resources to his new role. Before this appointment, he served as Director, Human Resources Transformation and HRBP Technology and Innovation for nearly four years, where he led the transformation of HR practices and the integration of technology within HR processes to drive innovation and operational excellence.
Prior to that, Patrick held the position of Human Resources Manager for Exploration, Projects, and Technical Services, where he provided HR leadership and support for Teck’s global exploration teams across 10+ countries. His strategic HR leadership in this role helped enhance talent and succession management and streamline global HR policies.
Earlier, Patrick served as HR Business Partner for Exploration, Projects, and Technical Services, during which he supported key talent management initiatives and played a vital role in employee relations and performance management. His contributions were critical to Teck’s HR operations in the exploration sector.
Patrick’s earlier experience at Teck also includes roles such as Senior Advisor, Talent Management and HR Business Partner, where he developed and implemented talent management programs, driving performance and succession strategies across Teck’s global operations.
