Birmingham, Alabama, United States, May 2025 — Patti Mordecai has stepped into the role of Vice President, Human Resources at Dragonfly Health, marking the next chapter in her distinguished career in human resources leadership.
In this role, Patti will be responsible for spearheading the development and execution of comprehensive HR strategies and programs aimed at fostering a high-performing and engaged workforce. Her portfolio will cover critical areas such as employee relations, organizational culture, talent development, compensation and benefits, and internal HR communications. Patti’s mandate also includes aligning HR initiatives with Dragonfly Health’s overall business objectives, ensuring the human capital function remains a key driver of the company’s success and industry leadership.
Before this appointment, Patti served for over four years as Human Resources Director at Dragonfly Health, where she directed multiple HR disciplines and led a professional HR team. She played a pivotal role as a trusted advisor and business partner, driving enterprise performance through recruitment, learning and development, compliance, and employee relations.
Earlier, Patti held the role of Human Resources Business Partner at Dragonfly Health, providing strategic HR support, performance management guidance, and developing best practice programs related to leadership, talent management, and diversity.
Prior to her tenure at Dragonfly Health, Patti served nearly a decade at Influence Health (formerly MEDSEEK), first as Director of Human Resources and later as Vice President, Human Resources, overseeing all HR operations and contributing to strategic planning, recruiting, performance management, and leadership development.
Her earlier roles also include serving as Human Resources Manager at The Home Depot, Human Resources Partner at Cerner Corporation, and a long tenure as Human Resources Manager at American Cancer Society, where she led HR and payroll operations across a six-state region and implemented various transformational HR initiatives.
With over three decades of HR leadership experience across healthcare, retail, technology, and non-profit sectors, Patti brings deep expertise and a passion for building people-first cultures that enable business growth and transformation.
