Milan, Lombardy, Italy, January 2026 – Boston Scientific has appointed Paulina Wierzba as Team Lead, Talent Acquisition EMEA. In this expanded leadership role, she will help drive hiring strategy and talent acquisition execution across the EMEA region, supporting business growth through stronger talent pipelines, stakeholder partnership, and high-quality recruitment delivery across diverse markets.
In her latest move at Boston Scientific, Paulina Wierzba transitions into the role of Team Lead, Talent Acquisition EMEA, following a year-long stretch assignment as Talent Acquisition Team Coordinator – Central Eastern Europe and DACH. During this period, she supported multi-country coordination across key sub-regions and strengthened delivery rhythm and alignment for hiring priorities in Central Eastern Europe and the DACH markets.
Before this appointment, she served as Senior Talent Acquisition Partner, EMEA at Boston Scientific, where she partnered closely with hiring managers on senior EMEA-focused roles, led intake and recruitment strategy discussions, executed sourcing through advanced Boolean searches and networking channels, and managed end-to-end recruitment processes. Her work also included building candidate pipelines, improving candidate flow through diverse sourcing strategies, coordinating selection processes, and engaging external recruitment agencies to meet quality-of-hire and time-to-fill objectives.
Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Paulina spent around two years with Edwards Lifesciences as a Talent Acquisition Partner, EMEA in Milan, where she managed recruitment advisory and delivery across multiple countries including France, Spain, Poland, Italy, and Switzerland. She worked in close partnership with HR Business Partners and hiring leaders, tracked delivery against KPIs and SLAs, anticipated risks for hard-to-fill roles, and prepared regular performance analyses and action plans to strengthen recruiting outcomes.
Earlier, she worked with the European Commission as an HR Specialist, managing structured selection and recruitment procedures, vacancy processes, eligibility checks, interview coordination, stakeholder communication, and recruitment databases/KPI reporting. Her experience also includes roles at Hays, where she supported and led recruitment delivery across EMEA markets, including responsibility for France, Spain, and North Africa, and contributed to process optimization and team coordination.
Paulina’s career foundation includes client and recruitment management responsibilities at ALTEN Polska, where she handled high-volume hiring needs while managing key customer relationships and coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities. She also began her early professional journey at IBM as a Query Handling Specialist in Kraków.
She has strengthened her HR expertise through postgraduate education, including HR Business Partner studies at SGH Warsaw School of Economics, and Human Resources Management postgraduate studies at Wyższa Szkoła Europejska im. Ks. Józefa Tischnera.
