New Delhi, India, October 2025 — Turbostart has appointed Piyush Arora as Head of Corporate Strategy and Investments. In this role, he will drive strategic initiatives, oversee investment opportunities, and contribute to strengthening Turbostart’s mission of building an ecosystem that supports the growth and success of startups globally.
Prior to joining Turbostart, Piyush served as Chief Commercial Officer at GUS Global Services India Pvt. Ltd., where he played a key role in developing strategic business plans, overseeing financial planning and analysis, driving digital transformation, and expanding partnerships with leading academic institutions. He also contributed significantly to procurement, real estate strategies, and market research to support the group’s educational ventures.
Earlier, Piyush held the position of Senior Director – Business Strategy at GUS Global Services, Edvancer, and Edology India Education. In these roles, he managed cross-functional business operations, long-range planning, and growth strategies, ensuring business objectives aligned with market opportunities and institutional goals.
Before his tenure at GUS Global Services, Piyush worked with Mazars India as Partner – Financial Advisory, where he set up the M&A practice. He also spent over a decade at Deloitte India, where he rose to the role of Director, providing advisory services to private equity funds and strategic investors, managing financial due diligence, and driving deal negotiations. His early career was shaped at PwC, where he spent more than six years in audit and advisory services, working with clients such as Airtel, Vodafone, and Nokia.
With over two decades of expertise in corporate strategy, financial advisory, M&A, and investment planning, Piyush’s appointment strengthens Turbostart’s leadership as it continues to expand its global footprint and empower startups with strategic support and funding.
