Career Journey and Experience
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic, Jamie Herbst dedicated nearly three decades to Menorah Park in Beachwood, Ohio, where he significantly shaped the organization’s HR strategies. Starting his tenure at Menorah Park in October 1996, Jamie initially served as the Human Resources Director for over 20 years. His role involved developing and implementing effective retention strategies that significantly improved staff longevity and satisfaction.
In January 2017, Jamie was promoted to Vice President of Human Resources, a role he held until February 2024. During this period, he was instrumental in overseeing all aspects of human resources management, including strategic leadership and enhancing employee engagement across the organization. His efforts were pivotal in fostering a workplace culture that supported Menorah Park’s mission to provide exceptional care through compassionate and innovative practices.
