Singapore, July 2026 — Weichai Power Co., Ltd. has appointed Alok Joshi as Chief Executive Officer – Asia Pacific, effective July 2026. In this role, he will lead the company’s strategic growth, business expansion, and operations across the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening Weichai’s presence in one of its most important international markets.
Prior to joining Weichai Power, Alok served as an Advisor at JoshiSan Consulting, where he advised organizations on strategic growth, leadership, and business transformation.
Before that, he spent more than 22 years with Cummins Inc., holding a succession of global leadership positions across Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and international markets. Most recently, he served as Executive Managing Director – International Distribution Business, leading Cummins’ international distribution operations and driving commercial growth across multiple regions.
Earlier, he served as Executive Managing Director – Distribution Business, Europe, where he led distribution strategy and operational performance across the European market. Prior to that, Alok was Director – Power Generation Business, Africa & Middle East, overseeing business growth, market expansion, and customer engagement across both regions.
During his long tenure at Cummins, he also held several key leadership positions including Director – Power Generation Business, Africa, Director – Power Products, Director – Global G Drive Business, General Manager – Commercial G Drive Business, Global Product Planning Manager, and Product Marketing Manager, building extensive expertise across product management, global strategy, commercial leadership, and international business development.
Earlier in his career, Alok completed an MBA Internship with BT Group, before beginning his professional journey at GMMCO Ltd., where he worked as a Business Analyst and previously as a Sales Engineer, establishing a strong foundation in engineering, product management, customer engagement, and business development.
Alok holds an MBA in General and Strategic Management from Cass Business School, further complementing his extensive international leadership experience.
With over three decades of leadership across global manufacturing, power solutions, product strategy, international distribution, and business transformation, Alok brings a unique combination of strategic vision, commercial acumen, and operational excellence that will support Weichai Power’s continued expansion across the Asia-Pacific region.
