London, United Kingdom, June 2026 – The Premier League has announced the appointment of Holly Hunter as Head of People.
Hunter assumes the role after a successful progression through a series of increasingly senior people leadership positions within the organization. Her appointment reflects The Premier League’s commitment to developing internal talent and strengthening its people and culture agenda as the organization continues to support one of the world’s most influential sporting competitions.
Hunter has been part of The Premier League for more than seven years, building extensive experience across human resources, people operations, employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development.
Most recently, she served as Senior People Manager, where she partnered with leaders across the organization on workforce planning, employee experience, talent initiatives, and people strategy.
Prior to that, she held the role of People Manager, supporting a broad range of HR and organizational initiatives while helping strengthen people processes and employee development programs across the business.
Earlier, she served as People Executive, contributing to key HR operations, employee lifecycle management, talent support, and people-focused initiatives that helped support the continued growth of The Premier League’s workforce.
Before joining The Premier League, Hunter spent more than two years with Swarovski, progressing through a series of operational and HR-focused roles.
She served as HR and Business Services Coordinator, supporting HR administration, employee services, and business operations. Earlier roles included Business and Operations Assistant and HR and Operations Intern, where she gained foundational experience in human resources, operations management, employee support, and organizational coordination.
Throughout her career, Hunter has developed expertise across people operations, employee engagement, talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee experience, and human resources leadership.
Her progression highlights a strong track record of leadership development and contribution to the organization’s people agenda over several years.
