New Delhi, India, June 2026 – Deloitte has elevated Shruti Gupta to Partner, where she will lead HR & Payroll Operate Services, marking a significant milestone in her nearly two-decade-long career in human capital transformation and business operations.
With close to 20 years of experience spanning HR and payroll outsourcing, transformation programs, payroll operations, business engineering, client engagement, and service delivery, Gupta has established herself as a seasoned leader in designing and delivering scalable solutions that enhance operational efficiency and create long-term business value across industries.
Prior to her elevation, Gupta served as Director at Deloitte, where she led the firm’s HR & Payroll Operate practice in India within Business Process Solutions and also served as Global Payroll Operate AP Market Activation Co-Leader. In this role, she played a key role in strengthening Deloitte’s HR and payroll transformation capabilities while helping clients modernize workforce operations and optimize service delivery models.
Before joining Deloitte, Gupta served as Director – Global People Solutions at Grant Thornton Bharat LLP, where she led the HR and payroll outsourcing practice. She was responsible for streamlining operational processes, establishing standard operating procedures, strengthening business development capabilities, and enhancing service delivery frameworks that improved both client satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
Earlier, she served as Head of Solutions (Presales) at Excelity Global, specializing in multi-country HR and payroll solutions across international markets. Her role focused on solution design, workforce transformation initiatives, and supporting organizations in implementing scalable HR service models.
Prior to that, Gupta spent nearly seven years with CGI in business engineering roles, working closely with global and local teams to develop commercial strategies, support large-scale transformation initiatives, and conduct business analysis aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer outcomes.
Her earlier experience includes working as a Senior Engineer at Alcatel-Lucent, where she contributed to telecommunications product testing, systems integration, and technology implementation projects. She began her professional career with HCL Perot Systems, gaining early exposure to technology infrastructure and business operations.
Over the course of her career, Gupta has developed deep expertise in HR and payroll outsourcing, workforce management, payroll operations, digital transformation, process optimization, business operations, client advisory, and service delivery excellence. She has built a strong reputation for aligning operational strategies with business objectives while creating scalable and sustainable workforce solutions.
