Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, June 2026 – Veeam Software has announced the appointment of Ali Mobark as Director, People Partner MEA, strengthening the company’s people leadership team across the Middle East and Africa region.
Mobark brings nearly a decade of experience across human resources leadership, HR business partnering, talent management, employee relations, organizational development, workforce planning, and people operations. His appointment comes as Veeam continues to expand its presence across global markets while supporting business growth through strategic people initiatives.
Prior to joining Veeam Software, Mobark held multiple leadership positions with Westcon-Comstor, where he most recently served as HR Manager, Saudi Arabia & North Africa. In this role, he was responsible for leading HR strategy and operations across multiple markets, partnering with business leaders to support organizational growth, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce effectiveness.
Earlier at Westcon-Comstor, he served as Country HR Manager and previously as Country HR Lead, helping establish and strengthen people practices, HR governance, talent management frameworks, and employee experience initiatives across the organization.
Before Westcon-Comstor, Mobark worked with Christian Dior Couture as Country HR Business Partner, supporting luxury retail operations in Saudi Arabia. In this role, he partnered with business leaders on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning initiatives.
His earlier experience includes more than four years with Riyadh Pharma as HR Senior Supervisor, where he contributed to human resources operations, talent management, employee engagement, and workforce development programs within the pharmaceutical sector.
During the same period, he also held responsibilities with AlHaya Medical Company Ltd., further strengthening his expertise in HR operations and people management within healthcare and life sciences environments.
Earlier in his career, Mobark gained international exposure in the United States, working as a Business Developer and Marketing Researcher with AES Real Estate in Florida, where he supported business development and market research initiatives.
Over the course of his career, Mobark has built extensive experience across HR leadership, business partnering, organizational development, employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, and people strategy. His diverse industry background spanning technology distribution, luxury retail, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, and business services provides a strong foundation for his new regional leadership role.
His appointment reflects Veeam Software’s continued focus on strengthening its people capabilities and supporting business growth through effective talent strategies and employee-centric leadership across the Middle East and Africa region.
