London, United Kingdom, June 2026 – Deloitte has announced the promotion of Megan Sharpe to Director – M&A People, Integrations & Separations, recognizing her expertise in human capital strategy, mergers and acquisitions, organizational transformation, workforce integration, and change management.
Sharpe steps into the director role after more than four years with Deloitte’s M&A People practice, where she has been helping organizations navigate the people-related complexities of mergers, acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, and business separations.
With over a decade of experience across consulting, human resources, business partnering, and workforce transformation, Sharpe has built a strong reputation for supporting organizations through critical business transitions while aligning people strategies with broader transaction objectives.
Prior to her promotion, Sharpe served as Assistant Director – Integrations & Separations (M&A People) at Deloitte. In this role, she advised organizations on workforce integration planning, organizational design, talent retention, employee experience, operating model transformation, and people-related due diligence activities associated with mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Deloitte in 2022, Sharpe spent more than four years with KPMG, where she progressed from Assistant Manager to Manager within the firm’s people advisory and transformation practice. During her tenure, she worked with clients on workforce strategy, organizational effectiveness, change management, talent initiatives, and human capital transformation programs.
Earlier, Sharpe held HR leadership roles with GE and GE Capital. As Employee Human Resource Manager at GE, she supported business leaders on workforce planning, employee engagement, talent management, and organizational development initiatives. Prior to that, she served as an HR Generalist at GE Capital, partnering with finance, risk, and internal audit teams across multiple locations while collaborating with global HR stakeholders to deliver people solutions.
Sharpe began her HR career with Nestlé, where she completed the company’s HR graduate programme and later served as Junior HR Business Partner within the beverages and food division. These experiences provided her with foundational expertise in talent management, resourcing, employee relations, and HR business partnering.
Earlier in her career, she also gained experience in digital operations and content management with Comparethemarket.com.
Over the course of her career, Sharpe has developed deep expertise in mergers and acquisitions, workforce integration, organizational transformation, HR business partnering, talent strategy, employee engagement, change management, and people-focused transaction advisory services.
Her promotion reflects Deloitte’s continued investment in strengthening its M&A People capabilities as organizations increasingly seek support in managing workforce challenges associated with acquisitions, integrations, restructurings, and business transformations.
