Wilmington, Delaware, United States, June 2026 – IFF (International Flavors & Fragrances Inc.) has announced the appointment of Colleen Malchodi as Director, HR / People Services North America (NOAM).
Malchodi steps into the role with nearly two decades of experience spanning human resources business partnering, employee and labor relations, talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and people operations. Her appointment strengthens IFF’s people leadership team as the company continues to support a workforce of approximately 22,000 employees across 65 countries.
Prior to her promotion, Malchodi served as Sub Regional HR Manager at IFF, where she supported people strategy and HR operations across the North American region. During her tenure, she partnered with business leaders to drive talent initiatives, organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workforce planning programs aligned with business objectives.
Before joining IFF, Malchodi spent more than twelve years with Boeing, building extensive experience across multiple human resources disciplines and leadership roles.
Most recently, she served as Senior Human Resources Business Partner, supporting business leaders within Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) and HR organizations. In this capacity, she provided strategic HR guidance, talent management support, succession planning expertise, and organizational effectiveness consulting.
Earlier, she served as Senior Employee and Labor Relations Specialist, where she led complex labor relations matters, union grievance processes, arbitration preparation, collective bargaining agreement interpretation, employee relations investigations, and workforce engagement initiatives. She also played a key role in conducting work environment assessments and advising leadership teams on employee relations strategies and organizational culture improvements.
Prior to that, Malchodi worked as a Human Resources Business Partner, supporting manufacturing and defense programs while partnering with leaders on workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, and HR program implementation.
Earlier in her career, she served as Human Resources Generalist and International Work & Travel Student Lead at Gold Key | PHR Hotels & Resorts, where she managed recruitment, employee relations, immigration support, FMLA administration, training initiatives, and workforce programs.
She also held HR positions with Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and Maxim Healthcare Services, developing foundational expertise in recruitment, employee support, HR operations, and workforce administration.
Over the course of her career, Malchodi has developed deep expertise across employee and labor relations, HR business partnering, talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement, organizational development, succession planning, and people services operations.
Her appointment reflects IFF’s continued commitment to strengthening its people operations capabilities and supporting employees through effective HR leadership, workforce programs, and organizational development initiatives.
