Akanksha Jain Joins Roche as Global Design Expert – People and Leadership Development

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2026 – Akanksha Jain has joined Roche as Global Design Expert – People and Leadership Development, marking a significant addition to the organization’s global HR capability in driving leadership and talent transformation.

In this role, Akanksha will focus on designing and advancing global people and leadership development frameworks, supporting Roche’s commitment to building future-ready leadership capabilities and strengthening organizational effectiveness across markets.

Prior to joining Roche, Akanksha Jain was associated with Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. as COE Lead – Talent Management & Leadership Development (Global HR), where she was responsible for designing and implementing global talent, succession, and leadership development strategies across the organization.

Earlier, she worked with UPL as a Global Learning & Development Specialist, driving learning strategy and capability-building initiatives across 9 regions and over 135 countries, while also pioneering diversity and inclusion programs at scale.

She also held key roles within the Aditya Birla Group, contributing to talent management, organizational development, and leadership pipeline building through structured programs and succession planning initiatives.

Akanksha began her career with Reliance Industries Limited, where she worked in HR Capability COE and Learning & Development, focusing on leadership program design, organizational structuring, and capability development across business units.

With over a decade of experience in global talent management, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, she brings deep expertise in building scalable people strategies and capability frameworks.

Akanksha Jain holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource and Knowledge Management from Lancaster University.
