Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Polycab India Limited has appointed Gyan Pandey as its Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO). A seasoned technology and digital leader, Pandey brings over 25 years of experience across manufacturing, engineering, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, and enterprise IT.
In his new role at Polycab India Limited, Pandey will lead the organization’s digital and information strategy, driving innovation, strengthening technology governance, and accelerating enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives aligned with business growth.
Prior to joining Polycab, Pandey served as Chief Digital Officer / Head – Digital at Voltas Limited – A TATA Enterprise, where he spearheaded large-scale digital transformation initiatives. He led the “Digital First” agenda, developed a five-year roadmap for building a data-driven organization, and advanced cloud-enabled operations. His leadership helped embed data-driven decision-making across business functions and fostered innovation grounded in measurable business value.
Earlier, he was Global and Group CIO at Aurobindo Pharma Ltd, where he drove global digital innovation across operations spanning more than 150 countries. He established a global shared services model, rebuilt IT for service delivery and digital innovation, and led the adoption of emerging technologies including AI, ML/DL, RPA, IoT, and advanced analytics. He also played a key role in IT integrations for acquisitions and conceptualized the award-winning healthcare app Zoylo.
Pandey also served as Director at Enrich, LLC, where he built a Global Delivery Centre in Hyderabad, establishing structured delivery models, strengthening customer engagement, and achieving high utilization and retention rates. Prior to that, at Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO), he held the roles of Head of Business Solutions and Acting CIO, providing strategic direction for enterprise applications, leading complex data warehouse projects, and aligning IT strategy with business objectives.
His earlier career includes leadership and consulting roles at International Turnkey Systems (ITS), Oracle India Pvt Ltd, GENPACT, Spectranet, PANASONIC INDIA PVT LTD., Maxworth Orchards India Ltd, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Limited, where he built deep expertise in ERP implementations, enterprise solutions, financial systems, and global IT operations.
