Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 – Pooja Singh has stepped into a new role as Assistant General Manager – Human Resources at Schindler India, marking an important leadership milestone in her human resources career. In this role, she is responsible for strengthening human capital strategies, driving HR business partnering, and supporting organizational effectiveness as Schindler India continues to expand its operations across the country.
In her current role at Schindler India, Pooja Singh is contributing to the organization’s people strategy with a focus on human capital management, strategic HR leadership, talent management, and HR business partnering. Her appointment reflects Schindler’s emphasis on building strong HR leadership to support innovation, safety, and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Schindler India, Pooja Singh spent close to two and a half years at The Wedding Company, where she progressed from Associate Director – Human Resources to Director – Human Resources. During her tenure, she played a key role in organizational development, HR strategy, leadership development, succession planning, PoSH training, and performance management, supporting the company through a phase of growth and operational scale-up.
Earlier, she worked as a Human Resources Consultant at Thoucentric, where she partnered with organizations on HR operations, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and policy implementation, gaining strong exposure to consulting-led HR transformation engagements.
She also brings deep operational HR experience from her six-plus years at Topshield Security Services Pvt. Ltd., where she served as Human Resources Director, leading talent management, recruitment strategy, labor relations, and workforce planning across large and diverse teams. Earlier in her career, she held HR roles at Tata Motors Finance, S Tel Pvt. Ltd., Tata Motors (Internship), and Diamond Exports Private Limited, building a solid foundation across recruitment, HR operations, policy formulation, learning initiatives, and employee engagement.
