Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, November 2025 – Anand Rathi Insurance Brokers Ltd (ARIBL) has announced the appointment of Prachee Kamat as Vice President – Legal & Compliance, reinforcing the company’s commitment to governance, transparency, and ethical excellence. With nearly two decades of experience across Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management in the insurance and financial services sectors, Prachee brings deep regulatory expertise and a strong focus on business-aligned compliance strategy. In her new role, she will lead governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks at Anand Rathi, ensuring that the organization continues to uphold the highest standards of ethics, accountability, and operational integrity.
Before joining Anand Rathi, Prachee Kamat served as Vice President – Secretarial & Compliance at HDFC ERGO General Insurance, where she played a pivotal role in aligning compliance frameworks with evolving regulatory requirements. Her leadership ensured robust governance, risk mitigation, and adherence to statutory obligations across business functions.
Prior to that, she worked as an Independent Legal & Compliance Consultant, advising multiple organizations on compliance systems, business advisory, and anti-money laundering strategies. Earlier, she was associated with Legasis Services Pvt. Ltd., where she served as Practice Head – Banking, Financial Sector & Insurance, strengthening compliance delivery and risk management frameworks for financial institutions.
Earlier in her career, Prachee held senior leadership roles at ICICI Lombard General Insurance, IDBI Federal Life Insurance (now Ageas Federal Life Insurance), and Tata AIA Life Insurance, where she built her expertise in contract management, corporate governance, and anti-fraud compliance. She also contributed to the compliance and legal functions at Reliance Life Insurance, Kotak Life Insurance, Roche Diagnostics, and Reliance Industries Limited, laying the foundation of her distinguished career as a compliance strategist and governance leader.
