Singapore, December 2025 – Prachi Hatwalne has taken on a new role as Global Account Manager – AMEA at the Barry Callebaut Group, where she will be responsible for managing key customer relationships and driving commercial excellence across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. With this appointment, she will now be based in Singapore, expanding her global leadership footprint in the premium chocolate and cocoa industry.
Prachi’s journey at Barry Callebaut spans over five years, with significant roles that have shaped the company’s growth across multiple geographies. Prior to her new global role, she served as Commercial Director – FM & Gourmet, Vietnam & Philippines, and Country Business Manager – Vietnam, where she was instrumental in expanding the company’s presence and partnerships in Southeast Asia.
Before moving to Vietnam, she held the position of KAM – FM India and Subcontinent, overseeing strategic key accounts in one of Barry Callebaut’s most dynamic regions. Her ability to scale commercial initiatives, deepen customer engagement, and execute regional growth plans has been consistently demonstrated across roles.
Earlier in her career, she led the APAC region at MyDrink Beverages and BevSource, supporting beverage startups and brands through product development, sourcing, and operational scale-up. Her previous roles with DöhlerGroup in China and Southeast Asia, General Mills, and DSM reflect her broad expertise across B2B food and beverage domains, product innovation, and market development.
Prachi also brings strong brand-building experience from her early stints with BreadTalk Group, Khana Khazana, and M.M. Poonjiaji Spices Ltd., where she managed technical support, marketing, and new product development. Her foundational industry exposure began with research at Unilever (Hindustan Lever Limited) on fortified foods and nutritional science.
