Colombo, Sri Lanka, July 2024 – Prarthana Barsenbach Ranasinghe has joined Rockland Distilleries (Pvt) Ltd as Chief Human Resources Officer, bringing extensive experience in HR management to lead the company’s human resources strategy and operations. Prarthana will be responsible for driving HR initiatives and fostering a high-performance culture within the organization.
Prarthana most recently served as Head of Human Resources at NDB Capital Holdings Limited, where she led the HR function for nearly six years. Her leadership focused on enhancing HR operations, employee engagement, and analytics, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Before NDB Capital Holdings, Prarthana worked at Bharti Airtel Lanka in HR Operations & Analytics. During her tenure, she played a key role in managing HR operations, employee engagement, and data-driven HR strategies, supporting the organization in achieving its HR goals.
Prarthana’s career also includes significant roles at National Development Bank PLC (NDB), where she served as Assistant Relationship Manager – Privilege Banking and earlier as a Management Trainee. Her responsibilities included relationship management for high net-worth individuals and various banking functions, providing her with a well-rounded experience in HR and banking operations.
Her journey in HR began at National Development Bank PLC (NDB), where she held the role of Banking Assistant – Human Resources. She was involved in HRIS, HR operations, employee welfare, and business continuity planning, laying the foundation for her successful HR career.
