Pune, Maharashtra, India, December 2024 – Prasad Kulkarni has been appointed as the Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Cummins India, a leading provider of integrated power solutions. Prasad, who has been with Cummins for over a decade, brings deep financial expertise and strategic insight to his new role. As Interim CFO, he will play a critical role in steering the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust governance, and supporting its growth trajectory in the industrial and automotive sectors.
Prasad has been with Cummins India for over 10 years, holding various key financial leadership roles. Since July 2021, he has served as Director, Finance, overseeing financial strategy and governance. Previously, as Senior General Manager and GM – Finance, he managed financial operations and drove efficiencies across multiple divisions.
Before joining Cummins, Prasad worked at S R B C & Co. and S. R. Batliboi, where he gained extensive experience in statutory audits of companies. Earlier in his career, he served as Manager at Kirtane & Pandit Chartered Accountants, focusing on bank and branch audits.
Prasad’s diverse experience across finance and auditing has equipped him with a strong foundation to navigate complex financial landscapes, making him an excellent fit for the CFO role at Cummins India.
