Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — Prateek Shrivastav has been appointed as Head HR – Personal Care Business, R&D and Organization Effectiveness COE at Unilever, marking a significant leadership advancement within the global consumer goods major. In this role, he leads the people strategy for Unilever’s Personal Care Business, R&D ecosystem, and Organization Effectiveness Centre of Excellence, strengthening workforce transformation, people analytics, leadership capability building, and future-ready talent architectures.
Prateek has spent over a decade with Unilever, building deep expertise across R&D HR, workforce transformation, organization effectiveness, people analytics, compensation & benefits, and frontline manufacturing HR. In his most recent leadership role as Head HR – R&D, Organization Effectiveness, Workforce Transformation & People Analytics, he architected enterprise-wide talent transformation frameworks, strengthened predictive people analytics ecosystems, and enabled Unilever’s evolving innovation and R&D agenda.
Earlier, as Lead – Talent, Organization Effectiveness & HR Analytics, he integrated talent systems with analytics-led workforce planning and leadership development. As Senior Manager – Compensation & Benefits, he strengthened governance, pay equity, and benefit optimisation frameworks across business units. His tenure as HR Business Partner – Supply Chain India and Plant HR Head – Goa Personal Wash Factory anchored his grounding in shop-floor leadership, industrial relations, and manufacturing HR transformation.
Prateek began his Unilever career through the Unilever Future Leaders Program, gaining early exposure to leadership pipelines and enterprise talent acceleration.
Before Unilever, Prateek worked with McKinsey & Company, supporting global sourcing and supplier capability building projects across India, Malaysia, and Thailand — bringing strong business analytics and operational rigor into his HR leadership journey.
Prateek holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur (2012–2014), strengthening his foundation in strategic HR leadership, organisational transformation, and people analytics.
