Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, November 2025 — Preethi Narasimhan has joined GSK as Director, Learning Operations, marking a new chapter in her distinguished career in global learning, capability development, and organizational transformation. With nearly two decades of experience spanning diverse industries including pharmaceuticals, financial services, and technology, she brings a proven track record of driving strategic learning programs and building future-ready talent ecosystems.
At GSK, Preethi will lead the global learning operations strategy, optimizing learning processes and platforms to strengthen GSK’s people capability and performance agenda. Her focus will be on creating scalable, data-driven, and learner-centric solutions that empower employees to thrive in a rapidly evolving biopharma landscape.
Before joining GSK, Preethi Narasimhan served as Vice President – Learning & Performance for Diageo India, where she led learning strategy and capability development across India, Global Finance, Operations, and Technology. She played a pivotal role in building digital learning ecosystems, enhancing leadership capabilities, and aligning learning initiatives with business priorities across Diageo’s global operations.
Earlier at HSBC, she held the role of Assistant Vice President – Learning and Development, where she led learning transformation programs across functions, integrating digital platforms and analytics-based insights to elevate organizational learning impact. Her initiatives strengthened employee development, leadership readiness, and performance alignment across regional teams.
Previously, Preethi worked with Intellect Design Arena Ltd as Head – Competency Development, iGTB BU, where she designed and executed comprehensive techno-functional capability frameworks for over 1,300 associates. She pioneered a customized learning management system and introduced gamified and mobile learning platforms to foster engagement and skill growth.
She also held leadership roles at Polaris Financial Technology Ltd, where she spearheaded Learning Design and Branding, and at AIG, where she began her HR journey as Junior Executive – HR, designing behavioral training programs and organizational development frameworks.
Preethi Narasimhan holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (Human Resources) from the Madras School of Social Work and completed the Executive Management Program at Cornell University, focusing on change management, leadership, and strategic learning initiatives.
