Pune, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 – Husk Power Systems has announced the appointment of Preeti Ahuja as Chief People Officer, effective April 7, 2025. Bringing over 20 years of global HR leadership experience, Ahuja is set to align people strategy with Husk Power’s mission of delivering sustainable and inclusive energy solutions. She will report directly to CEO Manoj Sinha, and her key focus areas will include leadership development, embedding inclusive practices, and driving innovation across HR initiatives to support the company’s growth trajectory.
In her most recent role, Preeti Ahuja served as Global HR Leader at Atlas Copco Group, where she led strategic people transformation initiatives, enhanced cross-border collaboration, and strengthened HR governance frameworks across diverse geographies. Prior to that, she was Head of People at Peak, where she focused on employee engagement, talent management, and diversity and inclusion efforts that contributed to scalable HR systems in a high-growth tech environment.

Before joining Peak, Ahuja spent over seven years at Alfa Laval in key HR business partnering roles, where she successfully designed and implemented organization development interventions, performance management frameworks, and retention strategies. She also held leadership positions at Lear Corporation, Emerson, VMware, and Larsen & Toubro, contributing to areas such as career planning, training, and employee relations over the span of nearly a decade.
Ahuja holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Balaji Institute of Modern Management, and has also completed the Executive Development Program in HR Management from XLRI Jamshedpur, in partnership with SHRM.
